Almost every week we hear about different foods that are being recalled because of Ecoli or salmonella contamination.
Careful hand washing may be helpful.


Do not drink untreated or possibly contaminated food or water. Always cook meats well, especially ground meats. Cook meats at high enough temperatures to kill organisms.

  How do you know if your food is infected with Bacteria?

 

YOU don't unless the FDA notifies us on  specif Brands. The only safe way is to be sure and cook it over 180 degrees
Do not eat rare meat! Rare meat is not cooked long enough in the center, and could contain active bacteria,

Fruits and vegetables can be soaked in Vinegar and water to get help get  rid of the bugs.
Never peel any fruit or vegetable without washing first. You can transfer the outside bacteria into the fruit or vegetable by cutting or peeling.
Ground Beef seems to be the biggest culprit when it comes to the sometimes deadly Ecoli  Bacteria.  Just recently a  slaughter house was caught killing sick cows and putting them through as if they were healthy cows.  Ready to be packaged a put on your grocery store  shelves. FDA stated that the slaughter house had been killing the sick animals for about 1  1/2years, so there is no way of tracking the sold meat to your table.   FDA stated their concerns  for the "Mad Cow" disease since the inspections  did not catch the ongoing criminal acts,  not caring about the health of there feooked wrong would be  ingest.

  May 5 2008 , CNN News reported
that New York Foods has recalled over 300
thousand pounds of meat including canned chicken and red meat.  The name brands
